Wiring Harness manufacturer Nursan optimizes production with MES from DiIT

Krailling, February 20, 2020 – Turkish wiring harness manufacturer Nursan has decided for the Manufacturing Execution System 4Wire CAO (Cutting and Assembly Optimization) from DiIT.

The implementation of 4Wire CAO is supporting Nursan in its ambitious growth strategy. The DiIT software is replacing an outdated in-house developed solution and will enable the wiring harness manufacturer to increase productivity in the cutting and pre-assembly manufacturing stages and avoid scrap. It will also enable Nursan to meet the sharply increasing demands of automotive suppliers for flexibility, quality and traceability.

The company carried out an extensive evaluation of different MES solutions before deciding on 4Wire CAO from DiIT. The wiring harness manufacturer tested different systems in test installations in live production environments over several months and compared their functional scope, performance and usability. And finally, at the end of 2019 it decided to implement the DiIT solution.
