The production plan generator (PPG) supports engineering for wire harness production during design, planning and production, leading to a significant improvement of planning and master data quality, while drastically reducing efforts and work. As a result, projects can be implemented much faster and in much safer way.
 

PPG supports the planning and production of

• autonomous wires and

• customer-specific wire harnesses

• also for models with lengths variants,

for passenger cars and commercial vehicle alike.

In the planning phase, the custom drawing of the electrical system of the car manufacturer is  supplemented by the harness manufacturer to become a production drawing. From this, the PPG generates for each new or revised drawing automatically the production documents. BOMs and routings for each production unit, and many other documents are available immediately. Of course, also commercial interests are taken into account.

In the production phase, wire harness – engineering is also supported by PPG. For each new customer-specific vehicle call from the OEM (JIT pulse), the system checks whether the vehicle can be built and automatically generates the KSK-specific production documents. These are passed directly to the production systems and thus lead to a continuous, integrated process flow.
