Komax wire and DiIT have agreed to jointly develop a new CAO system especially for the needs of small and mid-sized companies.

The new software system will be marketed independently both by Komax Wire and DiIT. The new CAO is characterized by its high modularity and scalability, its ease of use and its simple installation from a DVD. Even with only a few machines, the advantages of networking machines for the purpose of optimized process control become soon apparent and manifest themselves in improved quality, less waste, higher machine utilization and greatly improved transparency and traceability.

CAO stands for Cutting Area Optimisation and is part of the DiIT MES System for the cutting area.
