DiIT increases its presence in Asia

Krailling, March 21, 2024 – DiIT, a German specialist for integrated software systems used in wiring harness production and member of the Komax Group, is significantly expanding its business dealings in Asia. With its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for wiring harness manufacturers, the company wants to participate in the immense growth seen in the Asian automotive industry and open up new markets.

In order to increase its presence in Asia, DiIT is now represented by its own Sales and Consulting staff in Thailand and China. Moreover, the company is also expanding its sales network through the Sales organization of Komax in Asia. DiIT is working closely together with Komax Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore, with its software presented in the Komax showroom in Singapore. Additionally, the company will also take part in the Productronica China 2024 from March 20 to 22 in Shanghai as part of Komax.

With its Manufacturing Execution System “4Wire”, DiIT is addressing Asian wiring harness manufacturers. The software allows them to control and optimize their production and thus meet the high quality demands of the automotive manufacturers. Software versions in Mandarin, Thai and Japanese are already available, and additional Asian languages can be implemented at short notice if required. DiIT is developing its MES software for controlling the machines used in automated wire processing in close cooperation with the Group’s Machine Development team. As a result, DiIT and Komax create joint added value in the development of the Smart Factory.

DiIT software is already used at the Asian sites of European and US wiring harness manufacturers. Moreover, several pilot projects have been started with potential new customers from Asia.
