DiIT expands its management team
Gilching, November 22, 2024 – DiIT, a specialist for integrated software systems used in wiring harness production and member of the Komax Group, has expanded its management team. With immediate effect Martin Weickgenannt is now the second Managing Director of the company alongside Bernd Jost. Jost will leave DiIT at the end of 2024 and will be succeeded by Hendrik Blei.
At the same time as starting his role as the new Managing Director of DiIT, Martin Weickgenannt is assuming a further leadership role in the Komax Group. He is also running the Komax Competence Center for Smart Factory Solutions where he has specific responsibility for the development of digital factory solutions. Before joining Komax the degree-educated technical cyberneticist Weickgenannt worked in leadership positions for Dürr und Heidenhain, amongst others.
Bernd Jost, the second Managing Director of DiIT, will leave the company at the end of 2024. He has been the Managing Director of DiIT since 2016 and has made a significant contribution in developing the company into a leading worldwide supplier of integrated software systems for wiring harness production. Jost will be succeeded at the start of 2025 by Hendrik Blei who has worked for DiIT since 2017 and is currently working as Technical Manager.
DiIT was founded in 1990 and was taken over in 2017 by the Schleuniger Group, a manufacturer of machines and solutions for wire processing. In 2022 Schleuniger merged with Komax, the world’s leading supplier of solutions for automated wire processing and since then DiIT has been a member of the Komax Group.
