CAO wins DiIT renowned customer from the wire harness industry

The DiIT Manufacturing Execution System for the cutting area (CAO) with CAO optimization for advanced planning and scheduling, direct machine connection, central administration of crimp data, material confirmation by barcode, archives for technological and order-related data offers tremendous advantages.


The system facilitates a higher machine utilization and brings about a considerable improvement in the quality rate. Sped up and automated production processes, shorter throughput times and full transparency provide more flexibility to production. Integrated electronic Kanban control loops that automatically adapt to changing demand operate without time delay and without awkward paper cards. Feedback to the SAP system is provided automatically.

 

The payback period of the CAO system is estimated to be one or two years at the most.
